I teach singers at any level - beginners to advanced - from 8 to 99 years old. It's never too late to start! Welcome to ALL of you who love to sing and who want to learn more about your own voice: how to breathe, project your voice, increase your range and improve your overall technical skills. I also teach pitch and ear training, vocal warm ups,how to prepare for an audition and work on stage fright and nerves. Voice lessons are for EVERYONE. I believe that everyone can sing, and that includes YOU. In the Western world, some people think that only talented people can sing. There is nothing further from the truth. In many parts of Africa, everybody sings. Someone with very little talent who works hard and sings a lot will soon surpass a talented person who doesn’t work hard. Excelling in music is all about work and repetition. Knowing how to stand, how the voice works, where the resonance cavity is for singers, will help you tremendously to understand your own instrument and then singing will become really enjoyable. I have a Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy so I can teach you how to develop your voice most effectively. You will be amazed how things will change over time, starting with the first lesson! This is especially true of the voice, because our voice is both our instrument and part of ourselves. Beginner Piano Lessons
Start early! Piano is fun!
I offer piano lessons to beginners. Students from 4 to 99 are welcome. Why take piano lessons? Learning to make music is a wonderful skill and a way of expressing one's self and being creative. Learning to play the piano develops fine motor skills, visual skills, and listening skills by combining them all together. At Manifold Melodies, students will participate in a recital every year. Developing performance skills goes beyond learning to play in public, it also develops the ability to get up in front of others, which will later give students confidence to speak in public, present papers, and interview for jobs. For students who are looking at playing in band or orchestra, piano lessons are a huge benefit. Piano lessons teach the student the basics of music, reading notes, learning scales and music terminology, without having to learn how to play a violin or trombone at the same time. Later, the student can concentrate on the specifics of the new instrument. Private lessons are the traditional way to go because this one-on-one provides maximum time with the teacher for developing repertoire focussing on each student’s needs and learning patterns. Students will also learn how to play chords, how to compose their own songs, and the principles of music theory. French Lessons

Do you love the sound of the French language? So do I! Are you planning a trip to France, Belgium, Quebec or French-speaking African countries? French is a beautiful language and the best way to learn is by having French conversations. I am a native French-speaker with many years' experience of teaching private lessons and I love helping students improving their French conversation skills. 7FRENCH FOR SINGERS I also offer French diction coaching for singers and choirs. In addition to being a native speaker, I hold a Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy, giving me the best combination to help you or your choir with excellent coaching for polished results in your concerts and recitals.
